Innovation in Skincare Analysis

App trio.png

Dr. Lewinson is a co-founder and CEO of a skin health technology startup, All Skin.

All Skin is a digital health platform with a mission to improve access to personalized, unbiased, and evidence-based skincare information. The free All Skin app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, allows users to create profiles detailing their skin concerns, and then delivers personalized skincare content from board-certified dermatologists, analyzes skincare products from a dermatologic perspective, and helps users build evidence-based routines tailored to their needs.

All Skin uses data science to navigate a vast database of products and ingredients, cross-referenced with peer-reviewed research citations, clinical guidelines, and regulatory information. This ensures that users receive scientifically sound product recommendations free from brand or marketing biases. The app is especially useful for managing multiple skin concerns, selecting from lesser-known brands, or exploring unfamiliar product categories like makeup. Whether addressing mild acne, eczema, or contact allergens, All Skin provides safe and effective recommendations that complement dermatologist expertise.

Clinical Trials

Clinical trials are an essential component of the medical ecosystem. Every advanced treatment currently available in medical, procedural and cosmetic dermatology will have gone through rigorous clinical testing at one point, and it is based on these data that expert dermatologist-scientists such as Dr. Lewinson can develop precise treatment plans for patients. It's safe to say dermatology has experienced a "boom" of innovation over the past 10 years, and without these trials, the new and exciting treatments we have available to us today would never exist.

Participating in a clinical trial can not only provide you with access to new cutting-edge treatments, but also provides a contribution to the scientific community and fellow patients to help us understand who these new innovations are best suited for, and continually raise the bar of knowledge and treatment options in dermatology.

Dr. Lewinson can provide access to several clinical trials, and like all areas of his practice, safety is a top priority. Get in touch to learn more about ongoing trials.
